The French Technology and Innovation Clusters – ASTech & SYSTEMATIC organized in collaboration with IFCCI and Greater Paris CCI an IT and Aerospace delegation for eight of their member companies from 21st to 25th October 2013. This delegation was led by Mr. Bruno Stoufflet, Vice-President Scientific Strategy R&D and Advanced Business at Dassault Aviation and Mr. Gerard Poirier, Deputy Vice President for Scientific Strategy Partnership and Cooperation at Dassault Aviation and Vice President of Systematic and ASTech.

The objective of this visit was for the ASTech - Systematic India Hub to help their members to develop their business in India. On this occasion, Mr. Gerard Poirier and Mr. Jerome Halut, one of the elected members of the Greater Paris CCI have officially launched the hub in India, represented by the Greater Paris CCI India desk at IFCCI.
They also had the opportunity to exhibit at the India France Technology Summit held in Delhi on 23rd & 24th of October 2013 and to promote their business activities in India.

Apart from attending various roundtables held at the summit, Mr. Poirier also chaired the “Software & Digital Technologies for Aerospace” Roundtable. The ASTech –Systematic India Hub organized the following for the delegation visit in India:

• A conference on 21st October at the Lalit Hotel on the “India’s Aerospace Industry: Poised to take off” with eminent speakers such as Col Rajesh Hoon, Principal Consultant- Aerospace & Defence at Tech Mahindra, Mr. Maroof Raza, Mentor for Security Watch India, Mr. Anirudh Bansal, Director of Offsets & Industrial Cooperation at Eurocopter as well as Dr. Debapriya Dutta.
• Group visit to Samtel Avionics & Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi,
• Individual B-to-B meetings for each of the eight member companies.

This visit has provided the French companies with a better insight into the IT & Aeronautic Industries in India as well as many opportunities for collaboration with the Indian clients. French SMEs: Algo’Tech, eNovance, Nolam, Protection des Métaux, WiN MS, Silkan, SBG Systems, Geoconcept.
